Happily, I work as a wedding ceremony Officiant, Day of Coordinator from home writing ceremonies, vows, poetry. Days are spent emailing and chatting with couples about their wedding plans, flowers and how yummy those cakes were at a tasting from last weekend. I get caught up in deadlines, working with wholesale vendors and tend to work through lunch and on occasion, dinner. My usual time check is my husband walking through the door after his day at the office asking what I've made for dinner..... oops.
Gratefully, I have the constant support from my three full time assistants. They work diligently to keep me on task and focused. However; they make it their primary purpose each and every day to remind me that life isn't all about work, and paying bills. It isn't about what I can buy or what trip I can go on. I am reminded by these three goof balls that life is about staying true to me and those around me. Life is about family, friends and the love in which we rejoice. Life is about not forgetting who we truly are; it is being true to the journey we are on. My life is and always has been, well, interesting. I have met amazing people, been to amazing places, have fabulous family and friends and I have never been more happy.
